The aesthetic was his own: Englishman in New York, a fusion of men's designer clothing and denim. A rugged, masculine and sexy look, highlighted by unique tailored fits using quality textiles from the U.S. and Italy. Buckler's launch in the U.K. proved extremely popular and sells in many countries including London, Paris, Japan and Canada. The season's inspiration is drawn from a popular 1960's stylish spy meets English television comedy, a Brit Loyalist edge; an obscure mix of an international spy character eying a foreign secret agent emerging from the sea, with a harpoon and dagger in hand. Tongue in cheek humor; rule Britannia with comedic abstract sometimes surreal mix of culture, mixing up different eras. You ll see 60's sharpness blended with the 80's acid colors.
